We are still here
Remember
that day,
When
it rained on my parade
And
I sat alone, lost.
A
shared space turning into something
Something
we were afraid to jinx.
Time
flew by and the house we built cracked.
So
I packed my bags and walked to the door.
The
baggage, half my weight
Spilled
right through.
A
myriad of polaroids,
Bursting
into the light.
And
I remembered.
I
remember that day,
And
the ones after.
Rainbows
and sunshine,
Colors
and greys.
All
through them we walked through.
A
glance back and the cracks shrunk.
And
I stayed,
Hanging
polaroids together.
All
through it all,
We
were there.
All
through it all,
We
are still here.
