Parting Embrace

     The horn rang and immediately the ever alive platform had a surge of energy as people hurried towards and off the train. Amongst them were two people having had only a few precious moments together. As the train starts to move she sprints back to him and wraps her arms around him whispering:

              “Every time I’ve let you go without a hug, I’ve been filled with regret. So I’ll embrace all the messy, impulsive, and awkward hugs if it means I don’t have to let you go without one.”
